Inquest No 29831, upon the body of George A. Nordin
192 County of Cook, State of Illinois on the 9th & 22nd day of April 1904
at Depot of the A T & S.F RRC in the Town of Lemont
Beul
Verdict: The said George A. Nordin now lying dead at his parents house in said town of Lemont, County of Cook, State of Illinois came to his death on the 18 day of April AD 1904 from shock & injuries to his head received & caused by being struck by Engine # 85 A-T&S. Fe RR Co. drawing the Superintendent, Special Car, Eastbound, on the bridge spanning the Desplaines River at Lemont Ill & knocking deceased into the Desplaines River, from which he was picked out dead and while deceased was going on this speeder in an easterly direction and on the same track
on the evening of April 18 1904.
