Midlothian Pioneer Dies

Louise Larson (Helen Louise Jage Larson) born in 1910, in Ketter, Valencia, 

the New Mexico Territory died on March 20, 2006 at home in San Diego, California. 

The daughter of Richard M. and Genelle Johnson Jage, she lived in her youth at 

148th Street and Kildare (during the 1920s and 1930s) in Midlothian, until she 

met and married Earl Larson, previously deceased. Her family had owned the original 

Midlothian water works, until it was seized by eminent domain. Her mother, Genelle Jage, 

continued to live at the family homestead until her death in 1975. She is survived by her son, 

Randy Larson; her brother, John Jage; her niece Judy Jage; her nephew, Rick Jage; and 

numerous other nieces and nephews.

Paul H. Weisse

Weisse, Paul H. age 71, of River Forest; loving father of Stefan and Andrew (Jacylin) Weisse; 

devoted grandfather of Sofia; dear brother of Edward (Janet) and Peter (Betty) Weisse; 

fond uncle of many; former husband of Adrienne Weisse. Retired French and Spanish Teacher 

with the Morton High School District. Visitation Thursday, 9 a.m., until time of prayers 10 a.m., 

at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m., 

at St. Giles Church in Oak Park. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: 

Food for the Poor, Inc., 550 S/W 12th Ave., Deerfield Beach, FL 33442. Funeral info: 708-383-3191.
