Margaret L. Herman 

Prayers for Margaret L. Herman, (nee Gruschow), 78, of Itasca, formerly of Elk Grove Village, 

will be said at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road 

(three blocks south of Biesterfield Road), Elk Grove Village. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. 

at St. Matthew Church, 1001 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg. 

Born in Park Falls, Wis., Mrs. Herman died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, 

Elk Grove. 

A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Clarence W. Herman. Survivors include her son, 

Clarence "Corky" Herman (Barbara); her daughter, Mary Lou (Anthony) Pellicane; her sisters, 

Lois Vonesh and Marilyn (Ron) Geils; and her grandchildren, Margaret Gardner, Michele (Peter) Musielski, 

Shawn Michael Herman, Mary Rose Pellicane, and Shannon Marie Herman. 

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
