life's work.  The church is located on Alexander-street, near Wentworth-

CLEARY--Mrs. Patrick Cleary, member of the children's Benefit league and
well known welfare worker among Italians of the south side, died yesterday
at her residence, 4517 Michigan avenue.  She was a sister of Mrs.
Charles P. Caldwell, Mrs. John Cudahy, Miss Sara O'Neill, a leading
educator, and Sister Cornelia, Sister of Charity, Utica, N. Y.
In St. John's parish in the vicinity of Eighteenth and Clark streets, Mrs.
Cleary organized an Italian settlement twenty-two years ago.  Its
importance soon induced Archbishop Quigley to establish the church of
Maria Corronata for the exclusive use of people from Italy and their
offspring at Twenty-third street and Wentworth avenue.


CONNELLY--Mary E. Connelly, nee Houren, June 17, suddenly,
beloved wife of the late William, mother of Marshall E. and Margaret E.,
sister of Mrs. G. F. O'Leary, Frank and George Houren, at her

Relatives and acquaintances we report the sad news that our most beloved wife,

mother and grandmother Apolonia Wyruchowski nee Dubas, after a short but severe

illness departed from this world, provided with the Blessed sacraments on 21 Feb., 1920,

at 2:45 p.m.

         

The funeral will take place 24 Feb. at 10:00 a.m., from the house of bereavement at 2022 Cortez St.,

to the church of St. Helen and from there to St. Wojciech Cemetery.

 

To this sad ceremony we invite all relatives and friends, we, burdened with deep grief: Jozef Wyruchowski, husband; Edward, Roza, Jozef, Jadwiga, Franciszeka and Szczepan, children; Kazimierz Kowalski, son-in-law; August Dubas, brother; Loreta and Waclawa, granddaughters and along with the whole family.
